New PDPlayer Update Now Available

Pdplayer 1.0.7.32 is now available with optimized 4K playback and improved OpenEXR support. This is a free update for current customers.

New features and improvements include:

  • Metadata Viewer – Displays data such as camera FOV, aperture and focal length for DPX and EXR files. (Hotkey M)
  • Multipart EXR – Faster to load and display than multichannel EXRs, and much faster when working with many render elements.
  • Improved OpenEXR support – Now supporting OpenEXR 2.2.0 with DWAA and DWAB compression.
  • Side-by-side stereo – View and playback side-by-side stereoscopic images.
  • Optimized 4K playback – Introducing a proprietary new intermediate .aivf format for multicore disk playback of 4K footage.

V-Ray 3.2 for 3DS Max Now Available

The latest update to V-Ray for 3ds Max is now available. V-Ray 3.2 is fully compatible with 3ds Max 2016 and is now VR-ready.  All V-Ray 3.0 for 3ds Max customers can download the update for free.

New features & updates

Fully compatible with 3ds Max 2016, V-Ray 3.2 introduces VR rendering capabilities and multiple V-Ray RT GPU enhancements. V-Ray 3.2 for 3ds Max also includes improved volume rendering, distributed rendering, and global illumination.

New VR cameras
With our two new VR camera types, you can now render stereo cube maps and spherical stereo images. Output your V-Ray scenes to popular VR formats like Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR quickly and easily.

Shaderlight Now Supports SketchUp 2015

Following the release of SketchUp 2015, ArtVPS have now announced the release of a Shaderlight update that fully supports both 32 and 64 bit options of SketchUp. If you are an existing Shaderlight 2014 customer then you will be able to download the update for free. Simply install the latest version and your existing license will activate the new software.

If you’re using a previous version of Shaderlight (v1 or v2) then you can purchase the upgrade for only £49.50 +VAT.
